Summary:

Malala Yousafzai, a  14 year old Pakistani girl belongs to Swat where women’s right to education is condemned. Malala expresses her views about life in Swat for the past couple of years and girl education through a blog she writes for the BBC.  Due to her noble efforts, Malala has been  nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize.

According to Malala Yousafzai it is the right of every child to be facilitated with schooling and thus be educated!  A woman’s education rights activist tried to fight this cause but is now fighting between life and death herself. Tragically, this child activist has too become a victim of the cause she once spoke about.  On Oct. 9th, 2012 Malala Yousafzai, was shot in the head on her way back home from school.  After a weeks treatment and a major surgery she has now been airlifted to Birmingham UK for advanced treatment. The assassination attempt on Malala has rising worldwide sentiments and gathered much media coverage.  President Barack Obama has described it as “reprehensible, disgusting and tragic”.  Singer Madonna has dedicated her song “Human Nature” to this little girl.
